The Citi Global Wealth (CGW) organization is responsible for serving over 500,000 clients across its global footprint in Asia, Europe, Mexico, and North America. It delivers the full range of wealth products across investments, banking, lending, insurance, trust services and financial planning & advice across the wealth spectrum by delivering and expanding investment opportunities, advice, tools, and analytics catered to specific client needs. Within Citi Global Wealth, the Internal Fraud Program Management Team is responsible for the overall management of internal fraud prevention strategies involving Internal Fraud Risk Assessments, Case/trend analysis, Action Planning exercises, project requirements and enhancements design to the Global Internal Fraud Tool (GIFT) . This includes leveraging data to identify fraud trends, designing and implementing strategies to prevent and mitigate fraud risks, while identifying needed controls for prevention of newer internal fraud incidents.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for challenging the Global Internal Fraud Risk (IFRA) assessment process for the consumer business in the APAC region aimed at identifying internal control gaps
  • Support the businesses as they identify emerging internal fraud and wrongdoing risks and lacking controls through the internal fraud risk assessment process
  • Guide fraud teams during the action plans identified during the internal fraud risk assessments - continue to follow up on said plans until implementation ensuring all gaps have been mitigated
  • Drive management for closure of control gaps identified by risk assessment process regionally
  • Track countries when internal fraud cases occur ensuring details are written in the Global Internal Fraud Tool (GIFT)
  • Assist in the development/enhancements of the GIFT tool
  • Track aging of IFRAs, Lite IFRAs, Action Plans and communicate to teams
  • Assist in scheduling of new assessments for the following year
  • Regularly communicate and escalate to the senior leaders on gaps and progress on gaps/action items closure related to internal fraud controls based upon Risk Assessment findings.
  • Ensure that the Internal Fraud Risk Assessment is shared with MCA work with CBORC
  • Engage regional stakeholders specially In-Business Risk Control functions to ensure that internal fraud risks are appropriately identified during the Risk Assessment process
  • Global Lessons Learned program - Review qualifying incident details, prepare targeted questionnaires, administer to country teams globally, review survey results, identify gaps and vulnerabilities in specific markets, manage and track action plan creation at individual country level, collate and publish global report with review findings and recommendations.
  • GIFT Analytics - Provide user requirements, design reports, test, and support on an ongoing basis, that will lead to publishing ongoing communications globally around trends, issues, best in class controls or deficient controls and action plans to enhance internal fraud prevention efforts
  • GIFT Training to country teams, to keep pace with process reviews, tool change enhancements, and adhoc items as needed
  • Assist in development of identifying trends, developing various communications documents globally
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years Project Management experience and exposure to Financial Services industry
  • Wealth Management experience preferred; Risk/Fraud Management Experience; Program Management
  • Experience working in control or risk functions with experience in consumer business and/or in a direct fraud management/control role
  • Delivering presentations and influence executive audiences of all levels including senior level management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and management to define strategies for internal fraud risk assessments/prevention; holds self, seniors and peers accountable to openly debate the best possible solutions
  • Ability to blend complex data into clear and relevant communications
  • Ability to work independently and manage timelines with ability to successfully deliver assignments
  • Technical and/or business communications- proficiency
  • MS Office - Advanced levels
Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, or equivalent experience
