Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

This position is eligible for a partial telework arrangement at the present time. This arrangement would require you to have the availability to go on-site at any time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.

Your Responsibilities

As an Electronics Design Engineer for John Deere's Intelligent Solutions Group located in Fargo, ND, you will

  • Evaluate and design microcontroller-based solutions for off road vehicles.
  • Lead/support complex designs through the life cycle of the product.
  • Perform all necessary technical evaluation of the design process.
  • Coordinate technical work to support personnel.
  • Be recognized as technically proficient in the ISG - controller product line.

What Skills You Need

  • 3 or more years of experience in the application of circuit technology. Develops new applications of technology for product development.
  • 3 or more years of experience in creating, analyzing, reading, and understanding technical requirements written by others to determine the best technical solution for complex problems or projects of medium scope.
  • 3 or more years of experience in producing and/or evaluating possible design solutions for electronic assemblies to improve cost, quality, and performance based on electronic design knowledge of engineering applications together with the involvement of manufacturing, mechanical, software, and other functional engineers, supply management and supplier personnel.
  • 2 or more years of leading in the resolution of product-based difficult technical issues whether within the company or with outside suppliers.
  • 2 or more years of experience in compiling and furnishing necessary information (engineering decisions and reports of pertinent design analyses data) to document the design solution required for the building of prototypes and adoption of the design with possible involvement of other functional engineers, supply management, and/or supplier personnel.
  • Experience in providing technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality, and supply management organizations.
  • Experience in developing and/or executing test or analysis plans for product verification and validation.
What Makes You Stand Out

  • SW or Interface tools scripting to communicate with microcontroller designs
  • Signal processing experience (ex: filters, frequency analysis)
  • Radar/RF experience (component selection, circuit design, antenna design, etc.)
  • Sensor hardware development experience
Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor of Science. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited University
