Northern Engineering and Consulting, Inc. (NECI) is a multi-state firm providing professional engineering, surveying, and planning services for our clients in Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, and other locations. We are currently seeking an entry level Engineer in Training in our Bemidji, Minnesota office. This position will
provide survey and design services for civil engineering projects.

All successful candidates shall possess good communication and teamwork skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to grow. We are looking for a professional to be a part of a growing office, with an opportunity for future advancement.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering, 0 to 2 years of relevant experience, have passed the FE exam, and have the ability to obtain professional registration in the state of Minnesota within 4 years.

Employment is permanent full time with competitive salary commensurate with experience and benefits.

Anticipated duties include activities associated with civil engineering projects such as topographic surveys, completing engineering analysis and calculations; preparing contract specifications, reports, feasibility studies and cost estimates; and developing construction plans and specifications, and oversight of construction activities.

Likely project areas include rural and urban roads, water distribution, storm sewer, bridges, sanitary sewer, irrigation, site development, and construction administration.
