The Survey Crew member functions as an experienced professional who will perform technical collection and electronic transfer of data, detailed record-keeping, and adherence to safety practices. Duties may vary from project to project. This position is based out of our Walker and/or Bemidji, MN office.
Essential job duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Section subdivision surveys
* Boundary surveys
* Topographic surveys
* ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys
* Construction layout and staking
* As-built surveys
* Act as a field technical manager on certain projects, overseeing projects as they move from initialization through final construction.
* Provide detailed record-keeping and field notes.
* Provide positive client/public relations as individuals are encountered in the field.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years of survey related school or field experience
* Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks
* Ability to work independently and with a crew
* Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of staff and personality types
* Proficiency in computer programs such as Trimble Business Office and Microsoft Office
* Some AutoCAD experience a plus
* Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
* Willing to train
