As a Lead Electrical Engineer at Kimberly-Clark, you will initiate design, develop, optimize, and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. In this role, you will provide electrical engineering leadership to the Technical Services Team in support of capital projects, provide electrical problem-solving support primarily in the Pads department, and provide palletizer and robot support.
In this role, you will:
Develop and deliver equipment and processes that meet safety requirements, policies and guidelines
Provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel
Lead small improvement projects on the Tech Services team
Provide electrical engineering support on capital projects to other Tech Services team member
Provide Palletizer and robot support (25%)
Provide floating asset support, primarily in the pads department, flowing to areas needing the most help, either with projects or with asset team initiatives
The successful candidate will report to the tech services team leader.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university and 5 years or more experience in technical assignments
Familiarity with high-speed manufacturing equipment, installations, and machine startups
A demonstrated ability to perform in multi-functional teams to achieve objectives within required timeframes
Contribute to problem-solving, ability to establish standards, and committed to improvement
Ability to provide work direction, decision-making and team leadership elements
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with manufacturing of personal care products
Knowledge of the following:
Registration & Inspection Systems
HMI (Wonderware + Panelview)
Electrical Safety Systems (Safety Relays, PLC's, Ratings, etc.)
Linear Feedback Control Systems
Adjustable Speed Motor Control
Power Distribution/Protective Devices
Combinational/Sequential logic
Three Phase Equipment
Closed Loop Positioning Systems
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
Demonstrated leadership in achieving results
