What you will be doing:

  • Your primary role is the development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures
  • You will utilize metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices
  • Reviews supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and capability study information
  • Performs internal audits to ensure compliance to ISO requirements
  • Utilizing the concepts of probability, statistics, and data analysis (SPC, DOE, and process capability studies) to make decisions and solve problems
  • Identify and implement appropriate preventative and corrective actions along with root cause analysis and effectiveness review
  • Quality issues for new product introduction
  • Train staff on new quality concepts

What they are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of Quality Engineering experience
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements
  • Proven problem-solving skills with and use of statistical analysis
  • ISO and internal audit experience
  • CQE Certification is preferred
  • Able to travel up to 5% to other Company or Supplier locations
  • Good communication, verbal and written, and computer skills
