This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work any 8-hour shift schedules between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need.

We offer 2 - 3 days of training or more. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams
• Review and share payer policy updates (based on their assigned payer)
• Provide high level guidance
• Attend JOC Payer meetings and prepare and present escalated claims
• Analyze data
• Provide a root cause analysis and recommendations
• Collaborate and share feedback
• Direct team members

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 3+ years of Billing experience
• 3+ years of Revenue Cycle experience
• 3+ years of Claim Processing experience
• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable experience within ambulatory billing
• Subject Matter Expert for Anthem Payers
• Subject Matter Expert for Commercial Payers
• Proficiency with using Windows personal computer applications, which includes the ability to navigate multiple programs and learn new and complex computer system applications
• Proficiency with using Microsoft Word (create, format, edit), Microsoft Excel (create, format, edit), and Microsoft PowerPoint (create, format, edit)
• Ability to work any 8-hour shift schedules between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) including the flexibility to work occasional overtime based on business need

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.), using phones and computers as the primary job tools
• 1+ years of NextGen experience

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
