Position Overview:

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking to fill the position of Accounts Payable Specialist, reporting to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Review and enter Corporate invoices into the Accounts Payable ERP system
  • Manage the Vendor Master process; ensure proper documentation is provided
  • Perform review of completed expense reports through third party system
  • Assist divisional Accounts Payable partners as needed
  • Provide responses to vendor requests
  • Review key performance indicators to ensure goals are met
  • Lead Accounts Payable projects as assigned
  • Assist with month end and audit activities
  • Ensure best practices are being utilized to increase efficiency and eliminate non-value-added activities
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting is preferred but not required
  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Customer service focused with the ability to positively interact directly with end users.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize.
