SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Electrical System Designer is responsible for developing applications for the mobile and industrial markets. Working within a team environment (customers, sales, other technical support personnel), this position performs and assists in the specification, design, quote and build of fluid power systems, electrical solutions and components including hydraulic power units, HIC manifolds and related equipment.

JOB DUTIES:

• Design and layout of electrical systems for mobile and industrial applications.
• Determine system design, component requirements, selection, and costing.
• Develop electrical power circuit designs, schematics, and layout drawings.
• Utilize design software (2D, CAD etc.).
• Perform systems analysis and make suggestions for upgrades or modifications.
• Work with application sales, hydraulic system designers, and production personnel for developing solutions for customers.
• Create product manuals, Bill of materials (BOMs), spare parts lists, and work instructions for production.
• Create and maintain customer documentation in project files.
• Assist and support the development of DFP product lines and systems.
• Perform research, development tasks and diagnostic testing of components and systems.
• Provide support on first article builds.
• Other duties as assigned by Management.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

AAS in Electronics Technology or Electronics Background in Mobile and Industrial; Electrical Certification, Preferred; Experience with Electro Hydraulic; Experience in Fluid Power Distribution, Preferred; Motivated to stay Updated with Latest in Electrical System Design Concepts; Excellent Communication Skills (Written and Verbal); Highly Motivated Self-starter; Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities.
