In this role, you will:
  • Be part of the Retail Investing & Financial Advice Modeling Center of Excellence (RIFAM CoE) for Consumer Bank business
  • Have the responsibility for the development and maintenance of models across Wealth Investment Management (WIM) in compliance with the requirements of the Corporate Model Risk Management Policy
  • Be instrumental in performing a cross sectional assessment of all current models in inventory, establishing best practices for model development, model testing and performance, resolving standing issues around model validation activities, as well as seeking consistency and efficiency in all aspects of model support and development
  • Work hands-on with every aspect of the model life cycle, including inception, development, documentation, validation and model maintenance
  • Interact with a broad variety of partners, from portfolio managers and investment strategists in the business to model validators, fiduciary investment risk, auditors, and technology partners
  • Provide solutions to business needs and ad-hoc analyses to support modelling decisions or help in the business decision making process
  • Create benchmarks and provide proper developmental evidence for the supported models
  • Strategize short and long-term objectives, and provide analytical support for a wide array of business initiatives
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Quantitative Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science
Desired Qualifications:
  • PhD degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Experience with quantitative models in both the risk neutral "Q" and historical "P" risk measures
  • Experience with portfolio optimization, factor models, forecasting models and Monte Carlo simulations techniques
  • Experience with model development, model validation and model lifecycle in the Banking Services industry
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of statistical concepts and time series analysis as they relate to finance
  • Experience with capital market assumption modeling
  • Experience developing or benchmarking models in Python or R
  • SQL experience
  • GitHub experience
  • Ability to provide of quality and timely delivery of work products
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysis
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Pay Range:
  • New York: New York, NY: $138,500 - $287,600 Annually
  • California: San Francisco, CA: $138,500 -$287,600 Annually
Salary range is determined by location of the job

May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights, or other long-term incentive awards
