As the Senior Manager, of Order to Cash, you will work within the Order to Cash Transformation/Continuous Improvement team. You will be responsible for identifying, leading, and driving short- and long-term transformation and Continuous Improvement initiatives for our business processes, forecasting, operational reporting, and finance systems. What you'll do on a typical day:
  • Partner with management team to assess current processes and identify, map and implement process improvement opportunities including project ideas and solutions; organize teams and drive improvement projects around under-performing processes for the full end-to-end Order to Cash cycle: including invoicing, credit, cash collections and forecasting
  • Serve as a change agent for culture change and the use of standard work at all levels of the organization, mentoring team leadership and staff in the use and value of process improvement methodologies under the Lean Management principles while identifying, engaging, mentoring and developing candidates to become Lean and Six Sigma practitioners
  • Create templates and deliverables for KPIs, performance metrics and ad-hoc analytics requests; identify methods to monitor performance against original assumptions; develop detective controls and predictive indicators
  • Oversee the credit review and management process for new and existing customers
  • Oversee financial close and reporting activities
  • Lead or directly support efforts to inventory and assess existing processes and SOPs, updating and drafting as needed. Create process maps and maintain KPI's used by the team.What you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, related field or equivalent related work or military experience
    • 5+ years' experience in process transformation and process improvement in a transactional finance environment (OTC, P2P, etc.)
    • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certified
    • Experience leading a transactional finance organization (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay)
    • Intermediate Microsoft Visio and Excel experienceIt'd be great if you also have:
      • 5+ years' experience in project management and implementation, program management, change management, and business systems experience
      • PMP certification
      • Master's degree
      • Experience with Oracle ERP
      • Forecasting experience
      • Database/SQL/data visualization capabilities and experience
