SUMMARY
This position reports to the Enterprise Controller and serves as a key person responsible for establishing and maintaining strong internal controls, driving the annual division budget process, assuring integrity of accounting operations and providing accurate financial reporting for the division. This position will also be responsible for the management of general accounting operations; revenue management; and accounts payable, accounts receivable, capital planning, and billing.
This position manages and regularly evaluates all divisional operations with primary emphasis on achieving strategic objectives, establishing quality standards, effecting quality outcomes, ensuring compliance, and ensuring financial success with all programs and protocols established internally and/or by regulatory agencies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
??? Manage all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
??? Maintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.
??? Provide management over the accounting/control professionals in the division and other extended finance groups
??? Consistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changes and keep stakeholders abreast of divisional financial status.
??? Assist in driving improvement through business process and systems enhancements.
??? Prepare various reports.
??? Attends conferences, seminars, as required.
??? Makes recommendations to improve business unit practices and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
BS/BA in Accounting
MBA or Master's in Accounting or Finance preferred
Experience:
3 years demonstrated experience in Accounting management
Professional accounting certification (CPA or equivalent) preferred
Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job
Other:
Working knowledge of computerized accounting systems
Knowledge of a variety of software applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
Strong analytical skills
Detail oriented/attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
Self-starter while working well in a strong team environment
Ability to review, analyze and interpret fiscal records and to prepare accurate and complete financial statements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
