About the Job

BUILDING & GROUNDS WORKER

About the job:
  • Full-time, 9-month yearly position starting at $20.80 per hour working in Facilities.
  • Must be also willing to work holidays and overtime when necessary.
  • This position is represented by the Teamsters Local 320 bargaining unit.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general custodial work in buildings including cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming hallways, scrub and mop floors
  • Clean kitchen areas, clean walls, mirrors and windows, common areas, stairways
  • Carpet shampoo, replenish supplies, and grounds work, etc.
  • Bag, remove garbage and recycling items
  • Load and unload trucks move furniture; dismantle/assemble equipment and materials
  • Mow and water lawns
  • Clean leaves and debris
  • Snow shoveling around doorways and entrance areas



Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the assignment
  • Ability to interact in public setting in a respectful and professional manner
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
