MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation or the equivalent with some science courses, two years of experience in relevant academic and work experience may be substituted, and ability to read, write and understand English. Final job offer contingent upon complete background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in working in a laboratory environment or educational organization.
About the Job
RESPONSIBILITIES: Preparation of materials and apparatus for science laboratories including Anatomy & Physiology, Chemistry, Physics, Botany, and Microbiology; striking apparatus and cleaning laboratories after use; cleaning and restocking glassware; preparing media for lab use; preparing chemical solutions for use in teaching; collecting and facilitation of the storage of hazardous waste; and unpacking and checking deliveries of ordered materials.
