An APC utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, they work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Advanced Practice Clinicians provide health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age as noted in age-related category and area of expertise. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.This position will see an estimated 16 patients per day, typical shift will be days with some possible hours that go until 7 p.m. in the evening.The culture of this team is one of compassion, supportive of work/life balance, respectful, astute and caring. There is collegiality with other APC staff, supportive environment.Nurse Practitioner - QUALIFICATIONS (minimum requirements)
- Masters degree in nursing.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in Wisconsin
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Wisconsin
Current certification in CPR.
National certification in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
- Bachelors degree in a health/science-related field.
