Cirrus of Grand Forks is looking for Composite Technicians. The Cirrus Facility in Grand Forks produces composite "fiberglass" parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. Cirrus is committed to your success. Composite technician entry level

Cirrus entry level composite technicians will be trained to expertly perform lay-up and fabrication of composite "fiberglass" aircraft parts. Types of lay-up include major components and structures utilizing various types of resin infused carbon fiber and fiberglass. A successful composite technician will learn to read, interpret and build from engineering and assembly drawings, work instructions, and build to process specifications. Cirrus composite technicians will be trained into various manufacturing positions. Job duties can include multiple fabrication responsibilities such as hand fabrication of composite parts, tooling preparation and maintenance, cutting and trimming of various manufacturing materials, oven operation, and many more manufacturing processes.

Competency/Position Requirements:

A composite technician will have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in a fast paced team environment, be dependable, have a passion for learning and possess attention to detail.

All manufacturing employees must have a basic ability to use, or learn to use a computer to access Cirrus Aircraft electronic data & software.

Manual Dexterity: You will need to use your hands with precision on small items and in small spaces. You must be quick and confident with your hands.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. If you have any experience related to composite fabrication, please list your experience on your application and/or resume.
