The Sr. Project Manager, IT is responsible for managing complex and large scale IT projects using industry standard project management and IT development practices to deliver projects on schedule, within budget and scope.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
• Lead cross functional teams through the full project lifecycle from initiation, requirements, design, testing, implementation to close-out.
• Manage complex IT projects including all aspects such as: resource planning, risk identification and mitigation, budget planning and monitoring, scope management.
• Create, maintain and communicate the IT project portfolio and project dashboard for current project status.
• Implement and continuously improve project management practices in partnership with Cirrus Aircraft's Programs and Planning Office (PPO).
• Mentor and guide IT staff on project management practices, enabling team members to manage small scale projects.
• Monitor and reporting the status of projects to all levels within the organization including the executive team.

Education and/or Experience:
• 7+ Years IT project management, including experience in leading at least one enterprise level system implementation (e.g. CRM, ERP, HR, manufacturing execution, etc.)
• Experience partnering with sales and marketing to support customer facing systems (e.g. customer support, digital marketing, retail management, etc.)
• Experience with companies in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in developing and maintaining a project portfolio.
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline (required).
• MBA or Master's in related discipline (preferred).
• PMP Certification (preferred).

Demonstrated Proficiencies/Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent team building and collaboration skills resulting in high performance teams across various physical locations, functional areas and levels of the organization.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate between, and connect, business and technology perspectives.
• General understanding of all information technology domains.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
