The Configuration and Change Management Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day to day business of Enterprise Change that includes; Change Review Board (CRB) & Change Implementation Board (CIB), Windchill release processes, and enterprise change metrics to meet the needs of the Cirrus Configuration and Change Management Policies to efficiently implement engineering change into a multi-plant, multi-country manufacturing organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervises the Change Generalist position.
• Execute all day-to-day process steps related to enterprise change processes.
• Provides process issue resolutions and troubleshooting for all CM processes.
• Leads & manages CRB/CIB; including requests, change analysis, and physical implementation plans.
• Maintains Type Design aircraft configurations & works with Technical Publications group to support Field Service needs.
• Manage Type Design aircraft configurations and works with Quality Assurance for the reconciliation to the “As Built” configuration.
• Coordinates with the Windchill Competency Center to maintain and implement Windchill Enterprise Change Process & improvement projects.
• Understands Windchill change workflow for CM procedures, integration, and process guidance.
• Manages the Doc Control Database change process.
• Maintains all CM procedures, best practices, and training material.
• Responsible for all internal & external design control audits (FAA).
• Develops & distributes all enterprise change metrics and daily reporting. Responsible for data management and analysis of change metrics.
• Maintains all enterprise data reports specific to Configuration Management from PDM, ERP, & MES.
• Effectively uses and trains teams on Configuration and Change Management tools and standards.
• Facilitates all aspects of a change request from request to final implementation. Coordinates facts and data for business planning.
• Maps out change request dependencies and defines for team what needs to be completed to reach change implementation objectives.
• Conduct change impact assessments and report schedule and cost implications cross-functionally.
• Provides insight on risk, issues, requirements, design, and/or solution to be able to effectively implement change.
• Responsible for continuous process improvement in process, reporting, and change implementation. Uses creative ideas to improve processes and services and easily adapts to change.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Leads and focuses on Configuration and Change management development and implementation strategy.

• Drives team to understand business need and measures change implementation to the objective.
• Ensures early warning systems are in place and escalates issues appropriately with recommended solutions.

Communication & Team
• Works collectively with cross-functional team to balance needs and constraints.
• Excellent communicator with a patient yet high traction leadership styling.
• Information presented is in a format and with enough detail that is proposes decisions with adequate background, risk, business need, etc…
• Articulates the goals and objectives of the change and how it will impact the business at an executive and team level.
• As a cross-functional leader, professionalism in speaking, presenting, communicating with team members and executives is required and expected to lead by example in all forms and formats (public speaking, team meetings, PowerPoint, memos, emails, charters, internal/external, etc.).
• Effective communication planning and strategy for messaging and understanding desired results is critical. Actively reviews communication (or lack thereof) for unintended consequences.
• Skilled use of internet call and web conference tools. Seeks to bring in offsite members.

• Positive outlook, demeanor, and attitude. Looks for opportunity to bring positive outcomes and dispositions in others when dealing with sometimes critical or distressing information.
• Meeting punctuality and preparedness is required and expected to lead by example.
• Managing several change requests and implementation simultaneously requires extreme attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to coordinate between disparate tasks.
• Timely completion of scheduled work.

Education and/or Experience:
• 7 years of experience in Configuration Management.
• 2 years of experience in software process driven workflow.
• 5 years of proven leadership experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Business required.
• Proficient in Avante ERP, Solumina MES, Windchill PLM, UltiPro HRMS, MS Office Suite, Creo, and LifeSize web/video/audio conferencing services.
• Proficient with data collection and database query procedures.
• Proven experience in coordinating multiple department level decisions including manufacturing planning, operations, and material management functions.
• Experience with training in Configuration and Change Management principles, syllabus creation, and mentoring.
• Prior management experience in staff training and development.
• Proven experience as a technical resource on Configuration and Change Management principles and execution including systems and best practice.
• CMII certification preferred.
