Maintenance Worker/Painter
Eventide on Eighth, Moorhead MN
Full-time, 80 hrs/2 wks
Typically day hours with flexibility needed, with weekend rotation.

In addition to painting, must be able to perform a wide range of duties related to maintenance and physical plant operations.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required. Requires knowledge in any or all of the following areas: carpentry, painting, yard care, snow removal and basic maintenance. Must have the ability to work to work well with a variety of people to include staff, residents, families and visitors. Computer knowledge is required or must be willing to learn computer skills.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Safely utilizes and operates specialized tools and equipment.
  • This position in considered to be a "primary driver" which means that you may be required to drive for Eventide purposes at least once a week.
  • Completes the make-ready process of vacant apartments and skilled care rooms for new residents as assigned.
  • Maintains and tracks inventory controls for most cost effective operations.
  • Assist in the monitoring of  projects being performed by outside contractors and reports information as needed to the Facilities Manager.
  • Coordinates and completes special projects as assigned by Facilities Manager.
  • Responsible for alerting manager of any unusual occurrences or damage which may occur or already has occurred to Eventide property.
  • Other duties as assigned.
