Position Description:

The Department of Modern Languages at North Dakota State University invites applications for a lecturer in German. The lecturer will teach 3-4 beginning through advanced undergraduate German courses per semester, depending on courses assigned, and maintain at least 1 office hour per week for each class taught.

Minimum Qualifications:

M.A. in German or related field (specialization open); effective oral and written communication skills with native/near-native proficiency in English and German; effective interpersonal skills; demonstrable record of effective teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching at the university level; experience with instructional technology; ability to teach language pedagogy or second language acquisition
