PRIMARY FUNCTION
The Graphic Designer position is responsible for creating and maintaining sales support tools in print and digital media formats. Successful candidates will take direction and convert them into images, layouts and other designs to meet goals of increased sales and profitability. The employee will work with members of the marketing department, sales, sales support and others to ensure continuity in the company’s brand and marketing messages. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Graphic design for print and digital media
  • Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media including logos, infographics or animations
  • Ability to accurately create designs based off of analyzing the direction received
  • Ability to select colors, textures, images, text style and layout for all media types to convey messaging
  • Think creatively and research new design approaches
  • Advise on design strategies to reach particular audiences
  • Develop creative and effective marketing campaigns
  • Prepares for work by gathering information and materials
  • Manage project timelines and communication with internal stakeholders
  • Work simultaneously on multiple projects within multiple divisions
  • Responsible for photography and videos at customer sites or manufacturing facilities for use in developing sales tools and marketing campaigns
  • Store or file assets in accordance with guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graphic design degree or degree in related field preferred
  • Work experience in graphic design, graphic artist, communication designer, advertising, promotions, public relations, marketing, or similar and have a working knowledge of design principles
  • Exposure to a manufacturing-related field is a plus
  • Candidate must be creative and versatile 
  • Must possess advanced photo editing skills
  • Experienced with Adobe CS or Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere 
  • Knowledge and ability to work within programs like web content management systems such as WordPress 
  • Excellent multi-tasker
  • Must be able to meet timelines on projects and daily responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills: both written and orally as well as listening
  • Attention to detail, high quality work with minimal errors
