Description The Senior Systems Delivery Analyst serves as an overall subject-matter expert technical resource and coordinates the analysis, design, development and implementation of major or minor corporate technology initiatives in multiple functional areas by providing technical and project guidance. This position analyzes and designs new and existing subsystems/systems as assigned and provides leadership technical/business guidance and assistance to staff throughout project and system lifecycle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Supports the planning, implementation and monitoring of departmental and corporate-wide projects, activities or initiatives. Builds scope and objective statements, develops detailed and comprehensive action plans, work steps, timelines, resources and training requirements, communications, milestones and performance measures. Monitors activities to ensure timely completion.

Reviews, prepares and presents progress and interim results, recommends changes in process, project team, project plan, etc. when necessary and writes up changes in procedures and/or project plan for review and approval, as appropriate.

Conducts post-implementation reviews to include adherence to timeline, variances from project plan, resource requirements, etc. and recommends changes to approach for similar future projects.

Analyzes business needs and collaborates with external staff, executive staff, and all levels of IT staff to identify and design approaches to business issues.

Researches and defines business requirements for presentation to and decisions by IT and corporate leadership. Coordinates initiatives between corporation and external entities.

Produces project initiation, feasibility and position documents on major corporate projects and initiatives.

Supports Product Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.

Provides assistance, guidance and training to internal and external staff in technical and application analysis and design.

Maintains awareness of trends and developments in the information arena and provides updates to internal and external staff.

Provides guidance in IT concepts, standards, and procedures. Identifies training requirements for project staff and users for new or upgraded systems implementations and builds training matrix and timeline.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Analytical Thinking Advanced Collaboration Advanced Prioritization and Organization of Work Advanced Technical/Professional Knowledge and Skills Intermediate Project Management Advanced Attention to Detail and Accuracy Intermediate EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Required: Bachelor's Preferred: Bachelor's Field(s) of Study: Information Technology, Computer Science or related field EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Required: Minimum of 10 Years Preferred: Minimum of 13 Years Experience Details: Minimum of 10 years of software development, software analysis, business analysis, project management, PMLC, SDLC or related experience is required.
