South Dakota Wheat Growers is looking to add a full-time Electrician to their Administrative Maintenance team.
This position will work with our grain, fertilizer, and agronomy facilities on electrical equipment and hazard monitoring. The position will also perform electrical repairs, inspections and new installations.
Job requirements include but are not limited to: Diagnosing malfunctioning components, systems, and equipment using electrical testing tools and equipment. Inspecting electrical components to identify defects, hazards, or need for repair or adjustment to ensure compliance with codes. Informing supervisors of potential hazards and recommending corrective solutions. Following blueprints or preparing outlines to find out the location of equipment and wiring. Installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with electrical standards and code. Replacing or repairing wiring, fixtures, or components using power tools and hand tools.
Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
