Customer Support Associate/Admin Assistant:
A company in Merrifield, MN is hiring a Customer Support Associate. This will be a full-time position for 30-90 days. Thereafter, the position will continue as full-time, but will also include Admin Assistant duties. Candidates will perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities for all departments/supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Duties include general clerical, receptionist, and project based work.

Responsibilities & Authority
Perform a variety of administrative functions, including data entry, filing, scanning, and proofing.
Prepare reports, memos, spreadsheets, and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
Backup to Receptionist, answering telephones, transferring calls, meeting and greeting clients and visitors, and processing incoming and outgoing mail.
Support staff in assigned project based work.
Maintain appropriate interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and customers.
Maintain electronic and hard copy filing systems.
Handle requests for information and data.
Coordinate work flow and tasks to ensure progress to deadlines.
Maintain documentation of procedures to ensure consistent performance of routines.
All employees are encouraged and empowered to stop any unsafe act or condition.
Through proper channels all employees possess the authority to ensure their personal compliance to the Quality System and to halt production of suspected non-compliant product.

Qualifications
Excellent skills with Microsoft Office, data entry, and 10-key.
Proficient on multiple line telephone system.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong Planning and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize request coming from multiple departments to meet deadlines.
Proven customer service skills with ability to effectively communicate information to customers, employees, and management.
Flexible, motivated and able to work with limited supervision.
High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.

Internal Customers
Interface with all department

Work Schedule Patterns
8 hours per day, 5 days per week, and overtime as required.
30-minute lunch break for each 8 hour period, and (1) 10-minute work break for every 4-hour period. Vacation hours that may be used in any week are determined by the workload in the department.
