PRIMARY FUNCTION
The primary function of the Calibrator/Repair Technician is general repairs on propane and refined fuel trucks and transports.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to use gas torch and plasma cutters
  • Welding skills
  • Must have strong mechanical and leadership team skills
  • Work station must be clean and organized
  • Safe operation of all equipment
  • Must work safely around gas, diesel, LP, Anhydrous Ammonia

PRIMARY TASK

  • Assist with cargo tank inspections and repairs.
  • Calibrate and test pump truck LP and refined fuel meters
  • Tank Inspections
  • Repairing leaks on piping systems
  • Electronic equipment troubleshooting and repair
  • Rebuilding pumps
  • Repairing meters
  • Meter Calibrations
  • Repairing 12 volt systems and lights
  • Rebuilding valves

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Some Weld experience
  • Mechanical background or experience

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Will work outside in all weather conditions (Westmor provides winter clothes & boots)
  • Able to work confined areas (Inside tanks, under trucks)
  • Doesn’t mind getting dirty

PREFERENCES

  • Mechanical background or experience
  • Some welding experience
  • Understanding of 12V electrical systems
