Summary: The Community Liaison serves in a consultant role, acting as an advocate and marketer of our services to hospitals, clinical settings and community partners. The purpose of this position is to ensure referral goals are met and the facilities receive proper referral of residents. Other responsibilities may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the below performance areas. Other duties may be assigned.
Reports to: Vice President of Marketing
Scope: Responsible for growing market share and geographic territory for Knute Nelson services. Success will be measured by total monthly referrals, monthly conversion ratio of referrals to admissions, total monthly events, total monthly census, maintaining proper budget ratio, and other measurements determined by the Vice President of Marketing.
- Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors. Must complete and pass a state required background study.
- Associates degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred with a major in in communications, public relations, marketing, health care or other related field.
- Two years preferred experience/responsibility in health related field, with knowledge to market, evaluate patients, problem solve and educate on mission and practice.
- Travel is required.
