The Customer Service Representative is responsible for heavy volume telephone and personal contact with the public through answering and referring incoming calls; completing and processing all new customer information forms and customer service request forms; verifying insurance coverage and limits as applicable; scheduling delivery, pick up or services as needed; performing retail sales and filling customer orders for equipment and supplies in house; and instructing customers of all ages and abilities on the safe and proper use of equipment along with related home safety, infection control and emergency preparedness issues. The customer service representative is also responsible for maintaining general knowledge of most equipment and supplies. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers, and others.
