Cirrus Aircraft has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Payroll Specialist to join our growing and dynamic team! A recognized innovator and leader in general aviation, Cirrus Aircraft has over 1,100 employees in multiple states in the U.S. as well as internationally.

What You Will Do:

• Accurate and timely payroll processing for over 1,100 employees on a bi-weekly basis using UltiPro for both hourly and salaried employees;
• Work with managers to ensure employee time management/payroll hours are accurate and approved on a timely basis; maintain time clocks as needed;
• Perform data entry, including new hire input, garnishments/levies, employee changes, system maintenance, adjustments, retro pay and terminations, etc.;
• Deliver reporting for a wide variety of ad hoc and routine needs using UltiPro and Excell;
• Perform account reconciliations and provide general ledger reporting and support;
• Provide supporting documentation for annual audits;
• Ensure compliance with company policies, as well as federal/state payroll laws and regulations;
• Provide excellent customer service to and communication with employees and other internal partners;
• Communicate effectively in a manner that promotes trust and cooperation;
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned to support department and organization operations.

What You Will Need To Have:

• Minimum of two years' recent experience in processing multi-state payroll for 1000+ employees; international payroll experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• CPP or CPA certification preferred
• Working knowledge of payroll taxes at federal, state and local levels
• Experience using automated payroll systems and human capital management systems; UltiPro experience preferred
• High degree of accuracy and detail orientation required
• Proficient in MS Office with strong Excel skills (proficiency with pivot and look up tables, graphing, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
• Effective interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
• Strong work ethic and team player
• Excellent attendance record
• Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material and information
