Position Description:
The purpose of this position is to develop, implement, deliver, and monitor the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) curriculum, initiatives, educational opportunities and events across all ND EPSCoR's statewide programs; including; collaborating with ND EPSCoR's stakeholders to organize and promote interdisciplinary STEM activities and implementing, overseeing, and reporting on the required elements of the federal cooperative agreement. The STEM Manager will also be responsible for outreach to local community organizations, schools, and businesses to provide enhanced, experiential learning opportunities for all students.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Five or more years classroom teaching experience in STEM related areas
• Demonstrated knowledge of current theories, techniques and methodologies within STEM disciplines used in the development of K-12 STEM curriculum design
• Demonstrated knowledge of the challenges typically associated with student performance in STEM disciplines and instructional methodologies for overcoming them
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology integration
• Demonstrated knowledge of educational copyright laws
• Evidence of ability to analyze situations accurately and adopt an effective course of action
• Evidence of effective communication (both oral and written) to a variety of audiences
• Evidence of commitment and sensitivity to affirmative action, equal opportunity and human rights
• Evidence of ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Evidence of ability to self-prioritize competing projects with multiple deadlines
• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong technology experience and skills; including 1) Word processing skills, 2) Spreadsheet skills, 3) Electronic presentation skills, and 4) Social media skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree
• Experience in career and technical education
• Administrative experience
• Familiarity with grant coordination/implementation
• Teaching certification
• Job development/community outreach experience
