Job Information

You’ve spent a great deal of time in the classroom learning. Now we’re giving you a chance to put that learning into practice. With a Bobcat co-op position, you’ll learn solid business practices from the best sourcing professionals in the industry. You’ll have a hand in planning and executing projects alongside Bobcat’s experienced management team. Role and Responsibility

As a Strategic Planning Co-op, you will gain valuable workexperience doing:
  • Assist in the developing metrics/key performance indicators and defining root cause.
  • Develop and maintain monthly and/or ad hoc reports and distribute to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Work with cross-functional teams.
  • Assist with the demand forecasting process and analysis.
  • Assist with modeling multiple scenarios and developing recommendations.
  • Assist with scheduling of whole goods projects.
  • Analyze data, then prepare and present recommendations.
  • Assist with supporting call-center as needed.
  • Assist with managing projects, tasks, etc.
  • Assist with special projects as directed.

Job Requirement

  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Previous data analysis and strong analytical skills are required.
  • Previous experience in economic research/analysis, statistical analysis, forecasting, or economic modeling a plus.
  • Comfortable presenting analysis and research to senior managers.
  • Robust experience in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous internship or related experience a plus but not required.
  • Be able to commit to Bobcat or the entire term of the co-op (8 months) and be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Be able to adapt to working in a corporate setting.
  • Be able to independently work through a project from start to finish with limited supervision, as well as have the skills to work collaboratively on a team.
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree candidate/Junior or Senior status and seeking a degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics.
