Measure and fit off-the-shelf and custom fitted orthoses to a customer under a physician's order. A specifically trained individual who provides or manages the provision of quality post-mastectomy products to client. Will evaluate, measure (and/or cast) the client when determining the appropriate fitting mastectomy products. Will follow the customer input process to qualify the customer and obtain the necessary information and signatures to process orders accurately and efficiently. Update account maintenance and files with all pertinent information. Become knowledgeable of product specialty lines and insurance coverage of that product. Answer the telephone and ask probing questions to screen calls and schedule for the appropriate individual.



Certified Fitter in Orthotics & Mastectomy through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) is required; if not at time of hire, must have certification within 3 years of hire. Must possess a valid class D driver's license. Must maintain a good driving record. High school diploma or equivalent required. On the job training in custom orthotic fitting by a privileged Orthotist, completion of the orthotic fitter course or documentation of a minimum of one year previous experience.
