Order Fulfillment Lead

Monday-Friday 3:30pm-12am


The primary function of this position is to coordinate workflow within the Order Fulfillment department, prepare work schedules, assign work and oversee the daily work in progress. Provide training to employees and ensure proper quality control and productivity levels are maintained throughout the department along with training on company and department guidelines.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Lead personnel in the daily process of order fulfillment in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Safely and accurately set up, operate, and oversee the operation of order fulfillment equipment. Follow all equipment manufacturers set up procedures to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Print orders and ensure all orders are prioritized and shipped in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complete various reports for management including but not limited to current order volumes and shipments, productivity, manifesting, scale and carrier logs, and error data.
  • Ensuring employees are following QC and GMP procedures. Follow all QC and GMP policies that are currently in place, attend yearly QC GMP training and assist with the implementation of new policies.
  • Prepare daily schedule based on training needs, rotation, current employee knowledge, and productivity moving employees as needed to ensure proper flow.
  • To train and cross train employees to current department standards reporting feedback on employee's progress to leads/supervisors.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to present a professional image of SHP.

Marginal Duties:
  • Provide input to supervisor on employee performance reviews.
  • Accurately and efficiently pick products, check, pack, stock, and ship orders as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 1 year Swanson Health Products experience in operations.
