As a Paramedic you will…

  • Provide high quality out-of-hospital care

  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency ambulance calls

  • Transport patients promptly, efficiently, and professionally.

  • Staff 911 shifts, special events, and long distance transfers

    • Must hold national registry status as an EMT-Paramedic/Paramedic level
    • Current licensure as an EMT-Paramedic in North Dakota and Minnesota required within 30 days of hire (We will work with you to obtain this as you will need to be listed on the FMA roster).
    • Must maintain driver's license and good driving record
    • Completion of an accredited Paramedic Training Program required for licensing
    • Must have a thorough knowledge of paramedic principles, practices and techniques, knowledge of how various equipment such as a monitor or defibrillator work and how to troubleshoot problems that may arise.
    • BLS and ACLS certification
    • Successfully complete PALS class
