The Stability/Chemistry Intern will assist the Stability Coordinator with administrative duties and stability testing associated with the dietary supplement stability program.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Pull retention/stability samples at required data point to be sent out for testing.
  • Complete Chain of Custody paperwork to accompany sample when being sent to an outside lab.
  • Submit stability samples to the in-house lab.
  • Assist with the testing of stability samples as needed.
  • Monitor stability chambers, chart recorders, and real-time room daily to confirm environmental conditions for acceptance with established specifications.
  • Responsible for general filing and scanning maintenance of all stability related documentation
  • Manage product inventory and destruction of expired items
  • Maintain the organization of the stability rooms and accelerated chamber.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
  • Conducts self in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of SHP.

  • Must be organized and able to perform duties in a timely manner
  • Must be flexible and able to handle multiple activities
  • Able to effectively communicate with various departments
  • Experience in Mozart, Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Able to work independently


Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and Experience Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Or; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties of the job as listed above. One year of college level science with lab.
