Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and a junior or senior during the 2018/2019 school year at a Grand Forks high school. Please complete a separate application for each School to Career position as well as completing the packet at your school's Career office.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.

Physical Medicine and Therapy Services (PMTS) Support Associate

  • Reports any changes observed in condition or behavior to a Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist according to standard operating procedure.
  • Assists with activities of daily living (ADL) training in accordance with Standards of Care.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of location and use of basic and special equipment, i.e., walkers, wheelchairs, crutches, O 2 - portable and wall, and etc. Performs equipment cleaning, adjusting, and set-up according to established guidelines.
  • Assists with proper transferring techniques and precautions correlating to surgical procedures and co-existing diagnosis.
  • Assists with proper weight-bearing and self-care techniques with precautions correlating to surgical procedure and co-existing diagnosis. Assists with gait, reinforcing proper patterns and sequencing.
