Performs basic patient care services and supports activities of the patient care unit. Multi skilled to provide expanded bedside services under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient care protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients from adolescence through geriatrics. The patient population you will work with includes, but not limited to; medical patients, surgical patients, rehab patients, critical care patients, and pediatric patients. This position may have access to medications for purposes of distribution to licensed personnel.


Certification from a vocational program for nursing assistant or phlebotomy desirable. High school diploma or equivalent desired.
