Position Description:
The Office of Admission is seeking an organized, energetic, creative and collaborative team member to serve as our regional Twin Cities Admission Counselor. This position assists in planning and implementing recruitment and admission activities for NDSU . This 10-month position requires extensive travel (including overnight) primarily in the Twin Cities Metro, central/southern Minnesota, and eastern Wisconsin, to provide college counseling to prospective students and their families. Other responsibilities include responding to inquiries, coordinating outreach programs, occasionally staffing events and conducting appointments in Fargo, and implementing creative recruitment activities to maintain and strengthen NDSU visibility.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Completed bachelor's degree by time of hire
- One year related experience
- Computer skills
- Exceptional written, interpersonal and presentation communication skills
- Strong customer service experience/skills
- Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing events
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Ability to independently execute multiple projects
- Innovative, energetic, and committed to working in a team environment
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from NDSU OR Strong familiarity w/ NDSU programs
- Experience working in recruitment and admission at a regionally accredited college or university
- Experience presenting in professional or persuasive settings
- Experience working with data
