The Instructional Designer performs duties relating to technical design, learning management systems, consultation on training courses, multimedia design, and corporate facilitation. This position manages multiple aspects of curriculum and learning programs through creative methods and principles. This role administers the organizations learning technologies to engage the employee population. In addition, the Instructional Designer executes multimedia design in various forms for use in company training programs and systems, facilitates training sessions, and is the main point of contact for creation, design, and executing learning materials for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Designs, supports, implements and is actively involved in the training of complex curriculum programs, learning aids, and workflows.
• Successfully manages and prioritizes multiple projects on various timelines from development to delivery.
• Administers the design, implementation, and evaluation of the organization learning management system and additional learning technologies
• Maintains, researches and establishes workflow for tracking organization wide learning and development. Remains up-to-date with the latest utilized technology and tools to engage the employee population; integrate a creative and innovative mindset.
• Consults with subject matter experts, groups or individuals within the organization for optimal design of courses including online, virtual, blended, and traditional classroom programs for effective use of multimedia within instruction.
• Functions as the point resource person for the creation and design for learning materials; identifies and constructs effective tools for training through collaboration.
• Remains apprised of company training needs and understands how to deliver these programs and courses to individual with diverse learning styles.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Required: Bachelor's
Preferred: Master's

Field(s) of Study: Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Learning and Organizational Development or related field

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Required: Minimum of 3 Years
Preferred: Minimum of 5 Years

Experience Details: Minimum of 3 years of course or curriculum design, training, eLearning, online course management tools, graphic and multimedia authoring software is required; experience in multimedia design software including Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, and/or similar programs is required.
