Responsible for perpetual inventory, maintaining system stock master, PAR levels, and managing daily cycle count activity. Responsible for overseeing the perpetual inventory in their assigned warehouses and/or PAR locations. Will work closely with the clinical leaders, physicians, and department staff to assure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for procedures. Responsible for working with purchasing agents to resolve back order problems with items and inform the end users of delays in product availability. Assist in coordination of new product trials with physicians, clinical staff, and vendor representatives as designed and assists with product conversions and standardization initiatives in their respective warehouse locations. Review requests to have items added to their assigned locations and inform their customers if the requests were accepted or denied. Responsible for overseeing product recalls in their warehouses and to provide information on recalled items to purchasing in a timely manner. Required to achieve inventory turnover rates as assigned per location and fill rates to their customers of 99%. Assist in end of fiscal year audits by outside auditing firm and will manage other yearend duties for a successful fiscal yearend inventory of their assigned warehouses. Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to obtain support from all levels of the organization; be able to work and communicate over the phone, in person, via e-mail, fax, and other electronic methods with all levels of Sanford staff, physicians, vendors, external manufactures and distributors. Must possess self-directed motivational skills to establish priorities and manage workload. Possess above average organizational skills. Possess basic knowledge of medical and surgical supplies and equipment. Skilled at managing change, must project a professional and positive image while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to react calmly and effectively in stressful work situations is required.


Must have at least two years of clinical, financial, inventory or business operations experience. Must have prior be proficient with Microsoft Excel.
