Human Resources Administrative Specialist

Responsible for the administrative support of day to day human resource operations including: computer entry, maintenance of confidential personnel files, employment verifications, new hire paperwork, scheduling appointments, name badges and security system set up, assist with projects and events and is the first point of contact for all HR inquiries via phone, email and in-person.
Vice President of Human Resources
Has frequent contact with employees, the general public and works closely with administrative staff and department supervisors. Daily communication via phone, fax, email and in person. Occasionally leave the facility to visit other campuses to perform work tasks. No positions report to the Human Resource Administrative Specialist.
• Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents and visitors. Must complete and pass a state required background study.
• Requires a high school diploma and three years of administrative experience or any equivalent combination of training, education and experience. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Must have the ability to conduct daily duties in a professional manner and provide first class customer service. Requires an ability to work with varying workloads, changing priorities, and a variety of staff. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must demonstrate initiative and motivation to follow through with tasks.
