Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experience that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Must have good human relations and communications skills; must be able to follow procedures and instructions given by the leadership staff. Must have strong problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Products.


The resource would be involved the Information Technology QA and Testing processes. This would include reporting and analytics of testing outcomes and data, support testing coordination efforts, reviewing and editing testing documentation to support testing processes and methodologies, and monitoring quality measures and metrics.

Internship responsibilities:

  • Assist in testing efforts and reporting for enterprise IT projects.

    o Workday

    o Windows 10 Upgrade

    o Testing Automation

  • Quality assurance analysis

  • Design, prioritize, and execute test plans, scenarios, and scripts

  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate qualitative and quantitative findings from tests

  • Prepare test reports and communicate to project teams

  • Monitor bug reporting and track results

  • Support change management

  • Support the efforts of change management and interact with stakeholders

  • Participate in customer and team meetings

  • Support development and maintaining QA and testing documentation

    Intern qualifications:

  • Must be a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Communications, or an immediate graduate having received one of the previously listed majors.

  • Must be able to commit to the hours scheduled during the 12-week internship.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to learn new technical concepts quickly

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • The ability to work effectively with internal clients, IT peers and management
