ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Over sees all activity in the production plant.
    Sets up and manage the day to day production schedules with sales department.
    Sets up times for crew and number of crew members for production, patch, and finishing work.
    Schedules and coordinates jobs assigned and jobs assigned to the production supervisors.
    Determines what needs to be produced and what pieces to work on in the production plant.
    Tries to avoid potential delays and defects in the production process.
    Works with each department to channel through what needs to be done and how.  
    Oversee monthly inventories.  
    Purchases orders as needed.
    Keeps up on daily plant maintenance.
    Charges out jobs partially or fully completed to the business office for billing (hours, material).
    Determines the number of employees needed to match sales schedules.
    Enforce policies and procedures by coaching or giving corrective action when needed.
    Works to meet policies and regulations that are needed.
    Help maintain PCI Plant Certification.
    Develop, implement, and maintain Lean Management practices. 
    Promote safety to all employees and actively take part on Safety Committee.
    Complete special projects as requested and performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
    Experience with Microsoft Office.
    Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with employees.
    Ability to supervise, manage, and facilitate others.
    Ability to train and coach other employees if necessary.
    General math skills.
    Ability to work with others to get the project completed.
    Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.        Knowledge of products the company uses and which products would work best.
    Ability to follow instruction to know what needs to be produced and when.
    Ability to organize schedules, people, and equipment for maximum production.
    Understand the production process as a whole to be able to coordinate schedules.
    Understands and accepts changes that are implemented to become Best in Class.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS    
    2-4 year college degree
    5 years of experience in Production Management
    PCI Level III        

WORKING CONDITIONS
    Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements.
    Moderate to high risk of safety precautions.
    General Office Environment with a moderate to high exposure to production environment.
