Primary Responsibilities:

The Business Office Assistant is responsible for:
  • Managing and sorting the mail for both the facility and residents.
  • Distributing, recording and reconciling the resident trust account.
  • Maintain and file facility, resident and associate information.
  • Receive and direct to the appropriate associate phones/inquires related to accounts payable and resident receivable accounts.
  • Receive and provide documentation of resident payments for services provided.
  • Organize and manage invoices, credit card charges to record into accounts payable system.



Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Excellent attention to detail, timely responses and accuracy.
  • Highly comfortable with tracking and reconciling bank/deposit/withdrawal transactions.
  • Good computer skills-including Microsoft office products.
  • Have excellent communication and organization skills. In addition high comfort communicating with residents, families, coworkers and external parties in a pleasant and effective manner.
  • Consideration for an individual that is a quick learner and is results driven.

 

Reporting Relationship:

This position is an integral part of the skilled nursing facility management team and reports directly to the facility administrator.
