JOB SUMMARY

Expert leadership and clinical skills. Coordinate admissions and transfers of patients. Serve as a clinical resource for questions and concerns related to patient care. Manage staffing needs and staffing issues with appropriate department leadership. Function as a 'first responder' for providers, staff, patients, and family issues and concerns. Provide clinical and staff rounding. Facilitate the flow of patient care. Provide back-up assistance for staff in areas with minimal staffing. Participate actively in clinical quality, safety, service and work flow improvements. Manage clinical projects and serve on committees as needed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is casual (as needed).

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered nurse with current licensure to practice in Minnesota. Supervisoryor leadershipexperience strongly desired. Certification in ACLS, PALS, TNCCpreferred, but will train. Bachelor's degree in Nursingpreferred, but not required. Minimum ofoneyear clinical nursing experience.
