Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Marketing Events Planner with Eide Bailly might include the following:
  • Manage every detail of an event from coordinating the minutiae of shipping dates to managing the deadlines of save-the-dates and invites and handling the schedule of booth coverage.
  • Execute the setup of event booth and coordinate the materials.
  • Meet with industry, service and office marketers to envision and deliver on key events that drive brand awareness and leads.
  • Oversee an event budget and work with stakeholders to manage costs.
  • Collaborate with the Training & Development Department to plan events with continuing education requirements.
  • Document event strategy with stakeholders and ensure the coordination of all supporting activities to create and carry out events and conferences.
  • Work a booth at tradeshows with the knowledge and confidence to speak to Eide Bailly's services.

 

Who You Are
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are able to work cross-functionally with staff at all levels.
  • You pride yourself on the high level of customer service you offer and always follow up with others.
  • You are highly organized and have a strong appreciation for details.
  • You are an exceptional multi-tasker; you enjoy working on multiple projects and always meet deadlines.
  • You are flexible and can easily adapt to changing priorities.
  • You are familiar with CRM systems.
  • You are proficient with computers, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and using various software packages.
  • In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing or related field -- with 2-4 years of experience in event planning (required).

 

Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently without the requirement of sponsorship at any point in the future.
