4.0 MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

4.1 Study/read engineering drawings and blueprints to determine material requirements and task sequences

4.2 Select proper computer program to cut the needed parts

4.3 Operate bridge crane or forklift to load and unload parts from the CNC machine

4.4 Verify conformance of finished component using sized measuring

4.5 Fill out all paperwork/or computerized documentation required (i.e. quality checklist, etc.)

4.6 Maintain clean and organized workstation

4.7 Bending/cutting metal

4.9 Operates one or more production machines if trained

4.10 Duties involving operations under detailed instructions

5.0 PRINCIPAL WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

5.1 Reports directly to immediate supervisor

5.2 Interacts with warehouse personnel and other department team members

5.3 Interacts with other line personnel to keep up with the pace of the assembly line

5.4 Work together as a team to meet project deadlines

5.5 Must display a positive attitude and have an exemplary work ethic

5.6 Hard working, honest, and mild temperament

5.7 Communicates verbally in a clear, concise manner

5.8 Participates in meetings and safety training

6.0 SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

6.1 Follows all Safety Guidelines set forth by company, including wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

6.2 Good Communication Skills including speaking with Engineers, Managers, and other department personnel

6.3 Strong Computer Skills preferred 6.4 Attention to detail and organization is required

6.5 Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and handle 80 lbs. occasionally, floor to waist

6.6 Must maintain Excellent Attendance and punctuality with the ability to work overtime as needed and being dependable and responsible

6.7 Ability to maintain records accurately

6.8 Good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean and organized work area

6.9 Ability to handle quality requirements

6.10 Strong analytical & problem solving abilities

6.11 Must be able to work and perform job requirements without close supervision

6.12 Must be able to prioritize and organize work load

6.13 Must be able to effectively explain and answer questions related to the operation of the department

6.14 Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen & adhere to drug-free workplace policy

6.15 Must successfully pass pre-work screen & meet physical requirements/demands of job including grip strength, hand coordination, rotational standing, balance, elevated work, repetition, and lifting.

6.16 Position requires being on your feet and standing 95% of the time

6.17 Must be flexible to work with other departments as needed to meet workload demands

6.18 Experience in a manufacturing plant environment is a plus

6.19 Previous experience with Lean Enterprise/Manufacturing concepts is a plus

6.20 Must have the ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job

6.21 Must be capable of performing the Essential job Functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
