Central Office/Data Center Installer
Vantage Point is a Telecommunications Consulting and Engineering firm, seeking full time or contract Central Office/Data Center Installers. PLEASE NOTE: TRAVEL REQUIRED.We invite experienced technicians as well as trainees to apply.
- Installers schedule and coordination with contractors and clients
- Installation and termination of low voltage power in addition to low voltage and optical communications cabling.
- Communications equipment installation and commissioning such as Ethernet switches and routers, fiber optic transport, and subscriber access equipment.
- Material management
- Good communication skills to discern customer/client needs
- Verify service by testing equipment and cabling
- Perform troubleshooting & strive to resolve issues
Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to work under minimal supervision

- Knowledge of Central Office/Data Center infrastructure and installation practices desired
