Position Overview

The Customer Service Rep - Returns Support Temp is accountable, as part of a team, for supporting and interacting with Digi Key's internal Customer Service Returns representatives by assisting in the processing of customer returns. Provide friendly, confident and professional support.

Must be able to...
  • Organize incoming returned packages from customers
  • Verification and inspection of returned product.
  • Checking for quality and condition of packaging
  • Re-labeling and re-packaging of returned parts
  • Must maintain a strict standard of confidentiality to ensure that our customers protected information is secure
  • Follow all security and safety return procedure for each product type
  • Identify critical product return issues and report to appropriate personnel

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Minimum/Essential Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent of 1 years of customer service experience
  • Successful completion of the training provided
  • Demonstrated PC navigation and data entry skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure or in stressful situations based on deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal & written communication skills
  • Excellent Problem Solving Skills
  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
  • Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
  • Capable of spending 4-6 hours walking/standing on concrete
  • Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds from floor to shoulder height.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the following behavioral competencies; attention to detail, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, initiative, manages execution, personal effectiveness/credibility, positive attitude, and professionalism
