Job you will do
Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as a Recruiting Coordinator in Minneapolis might include the following:
  • Edit and post job descriptions on the company website and other external sites.
  • Order and review background checks for candidates and communicate to recruiter when the background check is complete.
  • Assist campus recruiter in setting up career fairs and other recruiting events.
  • Update information in the Applicant Tracking System (ADP) to ensure reporting is accurate and produce ad hoc recruiting reports.
  • Provide backup support with ADP, assist in overseeing new updates or process improvements in ADP, work with vendor on implementing changes and communicate any changes to the recruiting team on an as needed basis.
  • Assist recruiters by helping them source for candidates.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline processes.
  • Keep job postings and other recruiting materials accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate conference calls, reserve meeting rooms, prepare interview agendas and resume packets, and assist with travel arrangements.
  • Schedule candidates for phone interviews and in-office interviews.
  • Data entry and administrative/recruiting projects as assigned.

 

Who You Are
  • You take pride in providing top-notch administrative support to your team and are flexible when accommodating others.
  • You have the ability to work as part of a team, cooperate well with others and effectively accomplish goals.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention-to-detail.
  • You are tech-savvy and learn new systems/software quickly.
  • You have demonstrated advanced skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and other software.
  • You would describe yourself as a motivated, self-starter and enjoy learning new skills.
  • You have some interest in recruiting and the ability to help recruiters source for passive candidates.
  • You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
  • In addition to all of this, you have a Bachelor's degree, one or more years of experience in an administrative or support role, previous recruiting or HR experience is nice to have but not required, prior experience with Applicant Tracking Systems is preferable (ADP preferred
  • You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
