JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting the cook with production and service for patients, cafeteria, vending and special functions. Demonstrates knowledge of preparation and service of food for modified diets. Utilizes good hand washing and infection control practices in work. Assists cook in storing leftover foods per policy and procedure. Prepare and assemble food items in a timely manner according to quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
6 months of applicable experience required. Must have proficient math and reading skills and strong oral and written communication. Previous experience in large quantity or restaurant cooking preferred.
